Refurbishment -
St Tydfil Shopping Centre, Merthyr Tydfil

HPM have completed Principal Designer services for the refurbishment of St. Tydfil Shopping Centre at Merthyr Tydfil. Completed for our client Patrizia c/o CPC Project Services.

The project included the following works:

• M&E isolations and removal of old light fittings
• Demolition of the existing ramp South Mall
• Removal of existing paving and laying of new concrete brick paviours
• New wall cladding
• New high-level lighting
• Forming new passenger lift with former Thomas Cook store, including new steel stirs case, lighting floor finishes and shop front
• Removal of tree
• Cementitious water-proof tanking of the 1st floor slab
• Decoration of existing 1st floor concrete soffits
• Cladding to underside of 1st floor concrete soffits
• Installing new litter bins
